Just a quick comparison. In Australia, in general, we have school from prep (5 years old) to year 12 (18 years old). High school starts in year 7 when the student is 12/13. We call them 'grade x' or 'year x' where is the relevant class number. What would they have called them in England in the early 1980s (i.e. when Donna was at school)? Would it have been 'year x' or 'form x' or what?
