Title: The Lines of Fear and Blame 1/1
Author:
katherine_b
Rating: PG
Summary: The Doctor needs help to try and overcome the Master’s latest threat.
Characters: Ten, Donna Noble, Wilf, Addams, Rossiter and the Master
Word Count: approx. 4,600 words
Warning: MASSIVE spoiler warning for The End of Time Part I. You also have to have seen it (or read my transcript) for this to make any sort of sense, as I’m leaving out most of the explanations.
A/N: I owe a huge debt of gratitude to
time_converges for the idea that set this plotbunny biting. She was very generous in allowing me to run with it and see where my imagination took it. Well, this is where it ended up. And you will seriously need tissues for this.
A/N 2: I strongly suspect that this entire story will have become redundant by midnight GMT on January 1, 2009, so hopefully you can enjoy it for what it was – a possible, fannish solution to the monumental cliffhanger posed at the end of The End of Time Part I, albeit one that has nothing to do with Time Lords, the Time War, Gallifrey, or anything else except for the bond between Donna, Wilf and the Doctor.
A/N 3: Just to reiterate, MAJOR CHARACTER DEATH. You have been warned.
( The almost paralyzing fear he can feel creeping over him. )
