I have series 1-5 on DVD and the rest on videos of varying and somewhat dubious quality. Yesterday after work I drove to Monbulk just to purchase a copy of Rene & Me by Gorden Kaye. I have also just hunted out my 'Allo 'Allo war diaries.
There is, of course, a perfectly simple explanation. Listen very carefully. I shall say this only once.
I am going to Brisbane on Sunday for the single reason of seeing the stage show of 'Allo 'Allo starring *drumroll* Gorden Kaye (Rene), Guy Siner (Lt Gruber) and Sue Hodge (Mimi). It also has Chloe Dallimore, who played Ulla in The Producers in its recent Australia tour. I presume she will be playing Helga, although the website I have linked to above does not include Helga in the list of characters. I can't believe she won't be in it though.
Can someone who has seen the show on stage tell me about it?
