katherine_b at 10:24pm on 20/02/2005*sigh* I just put in my tickets for the Sale-of-Work to be held at the Gather. Pop goes US$36.60. Maybe it was a good thing I worked for 15.5 hours (over three days) this weekend. My feet don't like me at present, but they'll get over it. (For the uninitiated, I work at a football stadium and must stand on concrete for my whole shift. Sucks, but I get paid AU$20.25 per hour. I think I'll live! ;-)
I'm still waiting on the hb copy of "Rescue" I ordered two weeks ago. I hope like mad it comes next week. I also ordered a copy of "Maris of Glenside" as I believe it may be useful. Apparently it has a colour frontispiece and four b&w plates. We'll see how they look. *fingers crossed*
I ordered a DVD over Ebay three months ago and it's still not here. I've taken it up with Ebay complaints and am waiting to hear back. Can anyone tell me if it's really worth it? Do they give you back your money, like they say, and ban the sod who didn't send you your DVD and then said nothing? Hope so.
Also paid for another book, but I'm waiting until that arrives before I say anything more about it. It's not for me.
The only good thing is that, as I'm no longer saving up for a trip OS, I can spend my earnings on me a bit. Then again, I do want to go to Interlaken again, and also to Austria and the CS sites there at some point. *sigh* It never ends, this darned travel-bug!
