katherine_b at 08:45pm on 21/01/2005Okay, so last week I went to a podiatrist and got my feet fixed, except now they're softer than before so I feel things under them in ways I honestly haven't for years. Today I went to the airport to see off the girl I am councelling and who is going to Denmark with Rotary Youth Exchange, the lucky thing.
So, mistakes:
1) Heeled shoes, which I almost never wear
2) Padding under the balls that was fine with my old hard feet
3) Having to stand around for two solid hours while we waited for Thai Airlines to get their computers working when I had promised them a good sit-down and maybe a Diet Coke or something.
Result: read subject of post.
Lesson: don't wear shoes that aren't completely comfortable if you have to rely on technology.
*sigh*
