1.- Name one major plot point in Pretender you would change, and what you would have put in its place.
Oh, lordy, the possibilities! Okay, the major one I would dump would be the issue of the Africans that came up in IOTH and the long history of the Centre. That to me was the least believable thing, as I'd always seen the Centre as only existing since the post-Second World War era, having such strong connections to eugenics and genetics.
2.- If the cast of Pretender had (collectively) never made it to the audition, who else would you have liked to see play each part?
Gee, that's hard! Okay, here goes:
Jarod - Robert Sean Leonard (maybe a little too young, but he's sooooo cute!)
Miss Parker - Catherine Zeta Jones
Sydney - Sean Connery
Broots - Frances O'Connor
Raines - William Hurt
Mr Parker - Kevin Spacey
Angelo - Leonardo di Caprio (because I don't like him *lol*)
Lyle - Jude Law
Kyle - Jeremy Northam
Wouldn't have been the same, though...
3.- What are your favourite and least favourite episodes, and what makes you feel that way about them?
Hmm, another tough one. I think my favourite episodes are the Argyle ones because it's so good to see a lighter side of Jarod. I didn't particularly enjoy the late episodes in the fourth season, particularly Corn Man (except for the excavation of Catherine's grave). The ideas irked me.
4.- As a fanfic writer, what story of yours and what story by someone else would you most liked to have seen on the show? (c'mon... it's a smut one, isn't it? you're such a notorious shipper and all ;-)
*lol* Shame on you! Me, smutty? Nevah! *g* Actually, I'd lovely to have seen the Virtual Series, by me and others, instead of the two movies. I'd also have been interested to see how my "Darkness Series" played out, particularly as so few people ever told me what they thought of it and I was pretty proud of it! (Weird reason, I know.)
5.- You suddenly wind up in the Pretender universe during the season/episode of your choice (Mary Sue! Mary Sue!); what canon secret do you blab to who and why?
Now this is an awesome question! There are so many possibilities! Honestly, I'd get in and keep Sydney and Jacob from the car accident, as that opens so many things (I've always liked the character of Jacob, as his ethical dilemma, coming up so much earlier than Sydney's, opens a lot of doors). Whether they managed to carry out Catherine Parker's plan or not, it would be fascinating to see... *opens door, finds plot bunny and runs screaming*
if these questions don't make any sense, please ask me to clarify. I'm sleep deprived, hopped up on caffeine and my own second-hand cigarette smoke. focus isn't my forte right now.)
*offers nicotine patches and caffeine-free drinks*
If you would like to have me interview you with your very own 5 questions, leave a comment here. You will then answer your questions in your own LJ and offer to interview others, thus preserving this vicious, vicious cycle (and btw, any hints about topics you might like to discuss would be appreciated).
