Wow, the quintessential babyfic, complete with amazingly quiet and well-behaved infant! Where do I get one of those?! I love the meditative pacing of this, time to address the emotions and begin to heal together, and I love the realism of Donna worrying unnecessarily about the baby.
It is also wonderful how well they know each other and them having this time to reflect and reconnect, it's gorgeous.
And most of all I am hugely relieved to see you writing again!
*lol* He's by no means perfect, as you'll see in the next part. Still, I'm sure he'll be just as much of a chatterbox as his dad later. And Donna would definitely worry.
I'm glad you enjoyed the pacing of this so much as it really did feel as if I'd put the brakes on, so I'm very pleased that it works.
And yes, the muses are most definitely up and running! *pulls hair*
