...is all but over. I have left the student home and am in a hotel over the road from where the bus will go tomorrow morning to the airport. It's very weird to have TV again. I had a chat with the woman who did the Rosenstrasse tours today, but other than that have only packed, repacked, cleaned my room and lugged all my stuff to the hotel. I can't help wondering if I will be able to get away with it all when I go to the airport tomorrow. We'll see. Hopefully the flight isn't too full...

Good luck on the luggage, play the student card, it often works.

Good luck at the airport! I once managed to get away with having 10kgs more luggage than I should have (I was moving abroad for the year!!) and got away with it cos the flight was empty more or less...

Thanks. I got away with 29.3kgs today, with only a snooty woman telling me that I should have been fine. Considering the plane was all but bursting at the seams, I don't know how I wasn't. I think I will be posting stuff home again. *sigh*
