Only one day to go... (and a bit)

Thirty-six hours and I will be heading back to London to catch my plane back to Australia.

No, I can't believe I've been here for two weeks either.

But what have I don't for the past two days?

Yesterday was my relax day. I stayed in my room and wrote On My Own. At 3pm I headed out to meet a woman who my supervisor knows and who she introduced me to long-distance. We chatted about all things German and Berlin-related until after 7pm and then I came home.

And sadly today was about as exciting. I woke up at stupid o'clock (4.50, if you were interested) and spent the next two hours trying to go back to sleep. Then I commented all over LJ, had an early breakfast and headed off to the conference which is the reason I'm here. I'm ashamed to admit that my lack of sleep caught up with me and I nodded off several times. Because of that and the fact that none of the afternoon presentations were relevant to my interests, I left at lunchtimes and did a little bit more shopping.

ETA: I forgot to add that I went to the Zoo and have now seen Knut. So I've done what all Berlin tourists must do. *lol*

Now I just have to fit it all in my suitcase... :-/

I can't believe that it's over, it feels like it's only just begun!

I won't be around much over the weekend, so have a safe and beautiful trip back and I'll see you on the other side!

Two weeks flew pretty quickly, dang it; I didn't even realize it'd been one! Yay for relaxing days (and fic writing!) and hopefully your chat with boss's friend went well.

That's beyond stupid o'clock, that's ridiculous o'clock. I'd fall asleep during meetings too. Lol glad you've got more shopping, and hoping you can fit it in your luggage. You did take your Gallifreyan suitcase, didn't you? ;)

And I'm becoming worried that I left the TARDIS-brand suitcase at home and just brought the regular one by mistake...

Haha nice! Although mailing the clothes does make the most sense because they're likely the lightest of all your stuff. Good idea!

I can't believe you have to go home already! :) Good luck on the packing - I know I'll have the same problem on my trip! I do have a blue suitcase, but I don't think it's TARDIS brand. :D

Me either! However I have tried packing and am going to post some of my clothes home to solve the problem. I would suggest you do the same, but you've got two cases of 35kgs each, haven't you?

I would really love to have a converse shoe key ring (preferably in red) but it cost US$70 (!!!) postage. If you have a converse store anywhere near where you should, could you consider buying one and posting it to me? I'd certainly pay you for it!
