In twelve hours or so I shall board a plane and head for the other side of the world. At this point I've haven't been reduced to a squealing mass, most likely because my voice is still very dodgy and I can't squeal. However I do have little nervous butterflies. God only knows why as I've done this flight five times before so I can't really be nervous about it.
To those I'm going to see, can't wait to catch up! To those who I'm leaving behind - I hope it's not too cold for you all. (Yes, I am horrible, I know.)
See you all on the other side!
ETA: Excuse me if, as an Aussie, I piss myself laughing over this. Oh. Dear. Two days over 30 degrees. Whatever shall I do. *snerk*
BTW, I am aware that this is a Bad Thing for English people. But really - after three consecutive days over 40 degrees last summer, I'm afraid I can't take two days over 30 the way I probably should.

Hey, this is England - if it gets over 70 then you start seeing people wandering along main roads in their shorts!
Have a great time :-).

I will allow though that the Tube is a ghastly nightmare of hot in summer, though.
Have a fab time!

Also - *snort* I'm sorry Brits on KB's flist but that's amusing. ON the day i was born, it was 39. The day i went home from hospital was 37 and until i was about two months old, Mum tells me i didn't experience a day where the temperature wasn't over 30. And i turned out ok. ;)
Seriously though, that's why i could never live permanently in the UK. By the end of July here, i am Snarky McBitch from the weather being under 20 degrees for too long. I'd go completely loco if i had to live with the usual Northern Hemisphere weather patterns.
