Meh, I've never been big on selfish people. I think that's why Donna appeals to be so much. Her selfishness (if she was selfish) wasn't self-centered.

I wrote a lot of it off on her being 19, but then it just got to a ridiculous level and she started to really grate on me.

Yeah, particularly in Stolen Earth/JE. Her appearances in S4 made me really wish that she'd been left back in Doomsday. Her only good ep (IMHO) was Turn Left and I attribute most of that to the absence of the Doctor and Rose having to act as the Doctor.

I know! I watched bits of Diary of a Callgirl and was amazed at how good she was. (I am diplomatically ignoring her Austen venture.) It made me wish they'd made more use of her.
