Regeneration is just a very sensitive subject now that we're on the home stretch, at least for me. I'm not very suited for this fandom...
I also wanted to add that I liked the second person POV in the story. That's hard to pull off in a meaningful way, but I think you really did.

Fair enough. I try not to think about it too much, but this plot bunny grabbed me and refused to let go.
And thank you. I don't generally write second person tenses as they often feel a bit artificial, but I was very happy with the way this worked out.

Same here! I deal terribly with change so for me to love a show that has change at its very core is quite ridiculous.
Somehow, the fact that I wasn't the only one who cried reading this makes me feel slightly less of a loon!
