katherine_b at 10:00am on 09/01/2004Well, I've had my final meeting with Helmut before he goes away, and it was another good one, so thank heavens for that! He's not that bad, just very 'German'. I don't know how to explain it any other way, so hope no one takes offense!
I've also put in an application for leave (which no one seems to be in any doubt that I will have problems with) and am getting a book I need to plan the sight-seeing parts of my trip in Berlin. The title: "Thinking and Learning at Historical Sites: A Map of the Memorials for the Victims of National Socialism in Berlin". Sounds enthralling, huh?
