“I have to tell you something, Donna. Nothing really important or anything. Tiny, in fact. Well, it's important to me. But I can't keep it to myself, so I suppose I'm hoping, if I tell you I love you amongst a whole lot of other things, you won't slap me, or hate me or anything. That said, I was hoping I'd feel better now I've got the words out, and I don't. Weird. I thought I would. Still, maybe it’ll happen later.
