*woeful sigh* For I am AU$3,000 poorer.
(What do you mean, 'who are you?' It's me!)
On the positive side, I have now paid for my airfare to Europe. I leave on May 1 and this is my itinerary:
May 2 - Arrive in Vienna
May 3 - Catch train and bus to Pertisau. Enjoy all the Chalet School sites on offer.
May 11 - Leave for Nuremberg. Visit the Nazi-related sites in the city and nearby.
May 14 - Leave for Salzburg. Visit Hitler's Eagles Nest retreat and also see the CS-related sites in Salzburg and surrounds.
May 18 - Leave for England. Spend time on London, hire a car and visit Ruth.
May 23 - Head for home.
It sounds like a long time in each place, but I have no doubt I will fill it all nicely! My plane trip is also very nice - one stopover in Dubai. I'm flying Emirates, which I've heard wonderful things about, so I will see if it's true or a load of fibs.
