katherine_b at 01:38pm on 26/08/2004Apparently, as well as the chest infection, Mum had ischemic colitis - in other words, inflammation in the large intestine, caused by interference with the blood flow.
Her oncologist (cancer guy) says he doesn't think it's associated with the chemo. Her gut specialist (bastard!) thinks it is. I guess we'll find out in two weeks when she starts it all over again... *rolls eyes*
