A/N: Written for the fifty-second weekly drabble challenge with the prompt ‘black’. Also written forsykira, who asked for a fic in which the alternate Doctor reassures the Time Lord that he doesn’t have to be everywhere because our half-human Doctor can take care of Donna, too.
