Mum was buried yesterday. It was a lovely service. She had planned it months ago, when treatment stopped, and it reflected her perfectly. She had pink roses - her favourite flowers - on the top of the coffin. Dad did the Eulogy and I'm very proud of him because he did it really well. Many people said how touching it was. After the burial, about 100 people came to the R.S.L. where we had the wake. That went on from about 4.30pm until 7.30pm, and then several of my friends came home with me while Dad went out for dinner with a couple he is very close friends with.
Mum would have approved.
