Christmas cards

As some of you may know, I have a new address so this post is two-fold. If you would like a card from me, please leave me your address and I will be very happy to send you one! (Sorry, I can't manage fic this year, but will try to send something fun.) And if you would like to send me a card to my new address and I haven't told you what it is, please let me know!

Remember me?

Greetings all!

I'm not quite 'business as usual' but am getting close to it and thought I would dip my toe back in the water of things. It's also getting close to the festive season, so I thought I would combine the two, to which end:

If you would like a Christmas card from me, please post your name and address in the (screened) comments below.

Also, please add a prompt and I will write you a 100-word drabble!

My only proviso is that I won't write Amy, Rory or River, but otherwise see what you feel like throwing at me. (I will post all drabbles to my LJ after Christmas so others can read them.)

Let's get the festivities happening!

My Christmas

So I have been a very spoiled girl this year. It was a very booky Christmas:
Mark Roseman's The Villa, The Lake, The Meeting, which is about the Wannsee Conference in 1942
Hélène Berr's Journal, which is the life of a young Jewish woman in occupied Paris
Richard J. Evans' The Third Reich at War which is a huuuuge tome about the role the Nazis played in German life before and during the Third Reich
Ernst Schnabel's The Footsteps of Anne Frank which is one of the earliest Frank biographies and is very useful for my thesis
Ross Dobson's Kitchen Seasons about cooking with organic food
The Mythbusters Encyclopedia

Aside from books, I also got:
The Doctor Who Series 4 Complete DVD
The DWM Series 4 Companion
A set of pistachio green saucepans and frypan to replace my motley collection
Skin cream
A beautiful silver bookstand
A tin of German gingerbread

I hope everyone's day was as lovely as mine. A delicious lunch, a very pleasant time with my extended family, and - best of all - no arguments. Not one.

Perfect!

(Oh, and watching the World Latin Dance Championships in the evening...)
